תאור תפקיד:

Managing a large research group of the Department's staff. Running the lab, incl. experimental system operation and maintenance, directing procurement and new equipment installation, managing research funds and lab budgets; leading research projects and running independent research. Supporting undergrad and grad students performing lab research; writing research proposals, scientific papers and reports. Responsibility for lab safety. Working with diverse third parties inside and outside the Technion, in Israel and abroad.

דרישות התפקיד וניסיון נדרש:

MSc or higher degree from chemical eng., chemistry, mat. eng., environmental eng., mechanical eng., biotech & food eng., aeronautics. PhD – significant advantage. Excellent Hebrew and English oral and written proficiency. Experience in experimental lab work. Advantageous background: electrochemistry, catalysis, polymers, organic chemistry, energy. Management skills, leader personality; great interpersonal relations, and working in a diverse, multinational, multicultural team of researchers.
