Rapid Medical is a fast-growing medical device company focused on developing, manufacturing, and selling innovative devices for endovascular interventional procedures. The company is based in Yokneam, Israel, and our current commercial portfolio includes devices for the treatment of ischemic stroke, intracranial saccular aneurysms, and endovascular navigation tools. We are looking for a junior mechanical engineer to join our R&D and Engineering team. The Junior engineer will collaborate with other R&D team-members to support R&D projects in various phases from concept to commercialization. LOCATION: Yokneam, Israel. SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES • Prototype testing. • Design of jigs and fixtures. • Write test protocols and reports. Generate DMR (drawings, routing cards, work instructions, material• specifica\tions). • Perform verification and validation testing (V&V). • Support transfer to production activities.
REQUIREMENTS • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a known institute. • 1-3 years of experience as an R&D Engineer. • Experience in the medical device industry. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong technical skills and a hands-on approach. • Responsible, independent, and highly committed. • Organized & methodical. • Excellent teamwork ability and interpersonal skills. • Fast learner. • High-level English skills – reading, writing, and speaking. • Familiar with SolidWorks or other CAD programs.
